Mozambique has achieved sustainable economic growth and reduction in poverty levels. The macroeconomic performance has been impressive.
The Mozambique Government recognises Science and Technology as primary sustainable production and development means for the country. Equitable access to Science and Technology is seen as a constitutional right of all Mozambicans in all regions of the country.
Based on this approach the construction of the three Regional Centres for Science and Technology will play an important role in establishing facilities and infrastructure.
The Regional Centres for Science and Technology will contribute to implement the Mozambican strategy in these sectors. Target groups are teachers and students at the secondary level of education and from vocational schools as well as scientists and researchers from Universities and other scientific institutions, employees of the administrations in the Provinces, Districts and Municipalities and small scale entrepreneurs.
