On 9 May 2022, the President of the Egyptian Supreme Council of Universities (SCU), Prof. Dr. Mohammed Lotayef, and the Managing Director of GOPA Infra, Mr. Mathias Lueg, signed a contract for the provision of technical and managerial assistance in the context of the KfW/EU-financed project “Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings (Universities)”.

The project will identify, plan and implement investments of 21 million Euro in energy efficiency measures at 17 Egyptian universities. The selected projects will showcase innovative and sustainable solutions and serve educational purposes as well as increase public awareness.
