Together with the 3RproMar team of GIZ-Philippines, GOPA Infra conducted a kick-off meeting at the Provincial Solid Waste Management Board Meeting of Guimaras.

The project 3RproMar (implementation of pilot projects along the value chain) aims to support the ASEAN Member States in the improvement of implementation capacities for reducing land-based waste leakage to protect the marine environment. The interventions address four focal countries with a geographical focus as the main source of marine litter along the Mekong river system (incl. Vietnam and Cambodia) and the island states of the Philippines and Indonesia.

GOPA Infra is contracted by GIZ to implement pilot projects in the field of circular economy, ranging from the development of extended producer responsibility (EPR) and sustainable consumption to improved plastic collection and recycling in the Philippines and Indonesia.
