COVID-19 outbreak: Restrictions and impediments for GOPA Infra

Thursday, March 12, 2020

Dear Clients and Partners,

On 11 March 2020, the World Health Organization (WHO) has characterized the COVID-19 outbreak as a pandemic.

The rapid spread of the disease and the efforts to contain it are seriously affecting the global economy as well as international travel.

At GOPA Infra we are strictly following existing regulations and guidance from the relevant authorities but since the situation is constantly changing, we are unable to predict future developments.

Against this background, it is our contractual obligation to inform you that delays and/or restrictions in the implementation of projects executed by GOPA Infra are to be expected. Those hindrances might affect the scope of our services and lead to extension of time and/or additional costs.

As the impact of the pandemic varies between regions and countries, we are currently assessing implications on a case by case basis in order to formulate responses, which will minimize negative effects as much as possible. One element of such response strategies will certainly be an increase of remote management and home office assignments.

We are confident that we can count on your cooperation in this context as it is our ambition to ensure the success of our services to the highest extent possible.

With best regards

GOPA Infra GmbH
