For our project team in Sarajevo we are currently looking for a highly motivated Bosnian Junior Engineer (m/f/d). Interested?
Task description: 
  • Support the project experts in all necessary tasks.
  • Provide support services in up-and downloading of files to MS Teams / SharePoint.
  • Provide support in report writing, review and formatting.
  • Provide support in planning of project activities, review and update of MS Project Plans.
  • Provide support in planning and organising of meetings and workshops.
  • Provide support in coordination with other experts and Subconsultants.
  • Provide support in coordination of timely submission of timesheets.
  • Provide support in coordination of office resources.
  • Maintain and backup project records via SharePoint.
  • Provide support in preliminary review of detailed design of water, wastewater & stormwater networks, pumping stations, etc.
  • Provide support in review and checking of cost estimates.
  • Keep management advised of work status, workload, problems, and progress as related to work assignments.
  • If needed, provide technical translation and technical review of translated documents, plans, reports, minutes of meetings, and other documents between English and Bosnian.
Qualifications: 
  • University Graduate Degree in Civil or Hydrotechnical Engineering.
  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Excellent English language ability.
  • Excellent communication & writing skills.
  • Experience in water, wastewater & stormwater networks design.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, MS Teams and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of civil and hydrotechnical engineering fundamentals, drafting, and general civil engineering design and construction practices.
  • Knowledge of other software is an asset (e.g. EPANET 2.0, WaterCAD, SewerCAD, etc.).
  • Ability to read and understand construction engineering plans and drawings, including sheet references and layering. 
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and problem-solving attitude.
